I'm Promise James — a Product Designer building intuitive digital experiences.
Over the past 3 years, I’ve designed thoughtful and conversion-focused user interfaces for startups and brands across e-commerce, fintech, web3, and other brands. My goal is always simple: build experiences that are easy to use, beautiful to look at, and aligned with business goals. From sketching out initial ideas to pushing polished interfaces live on Framer, I care about both the process and the final product. My work spans mobile apps, responsive websites, dashboards, and marketing pages, always with a strong focus on clarity, usability, and visual rhythm.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me getting lost in a playlist, tinkering with animations, or shipping websites for startups using Framer.
What I Bring to the Table
Strategy Meets Design
I believe design should be more than pretty pixels. I work closely with product teams to align design with business goals, user needs, and technical constraints — bringing a strategic mindset to every project.
Design Systems & Visual Identity
From typography to spacing, I design systems that scale. I love creating consistent visual languages that bring clarity and personality to digital products.
Built with Framer
I don’t just design — I build. I bring ideas to life using Framer, blending design and development to deliver pixel-perfect, responsive experiences that feel just right.

ZuriTeam Inc
UI/UX Design Intern
Oct2022- April 2023
During my training program, I gained hands-on experience in designing user-friendly digital products for clients, developing a strong foundation in design thinking and user research. I became proficient in tools like Figma and learned how to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups. Throughout the program, I participated in several design challenges and sprints, which sharpened my problem-solving skills and exposed me to real-world product scenarios. I also collaborated with designers and developers to build solutions that aligned with user needs and business goals.
The training emphasized the importance of accessibility and inclusive design, and I learned how to integrate those principles into my work. I conducted user research and usability testing to inform decisions, while also deepening my understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and design systems. I actively participated in design critiques, provided and received constructive feedback, and improved my communication and presentation skills through client-facing sessions.
I also took on the role of Design Lead for Team Pelican II and designed a fintech app called TradeBox as part of a personal mini project. The program helped me understand the full design process—from ideation to implementation—while reinforcing the importance of time management, ethical design practices, and continuous learning in a fast-evolving industry.
